Ever wanted to save that classy video from Facebook but the pain of downloading and installing a software has stopped you from downloading that video? There are many services and apps available which can help you in downloading videos from Facebook. But if you don’t want to use any third-party tool or service to download videos then you can simply use our very own Internet Explorer.

Open IE, go to Tools / Internet Options, Click on Delete, check Delete Temporary Internet Files and Delete.

Now open the Facebook page of the video you want to download and wait till it buffers completely. Return to Tools, Internet Options, Settings (under Browsing History area) and click on “View Files”. This will open a folder on your computer where you will find the video file, just sort them by size and you’re done.

In most cases the videos are of larger size than the rest of the files and should have icon of your default media player. Simply copy this file and store it somewhere else and you are done.

If you are using Google Chrome then you can try ChromeCacheView to see cached files on your drive.

  1. You can also just use the torch browser. It has a built in media grabber so all you have to do is find the video and click a button.

  2. Yes, we can use it too - considered to be the All in One Internet Browser. We focus on the built in applications already installed on any Windows Operating System powered devices.
